Phantom PHANTOM OF INFERNO NITRO ARCHIVE Mio Fujieda

Mio Fujieda (藤枝美緒) is the reason Chapter 3 can still look like a school story after two chapters of Inferno. She is Reiji Azuma’s classmate in Japan, the girl who does not know that the transfer student used to be Zwei, and the granddaughter sitting on a Godoh family secret large enough to interest Claudia McCunnen. She never receives a German number. Scythe Master does not train her. The war arrives anyway because Reiji came home wearing a target. On Steam she uses the 2009 television design and Koshimizu Ami’s voice. As with the rest of NITRO ARCHIVE, the performance is Japanese only.

Read this page after Zwei and Ein. Mio is not an alternative Chapter 1 heroine. She does not exist in Los Angeles. If you came here from a review that listed four romance options as if they were simultaneous, the structure is sequential: Ein or Claudia first, Cal in America a year later, Mio only if you reach Japan. Her ending, Cherry Blossom Avenue, is the one time the visual novel tries to leave a civilian standing in the petals.

Japan chapter

Chapter 3 starts when Zwei and Ein (and the consequences of Cal Devens) can no longer stay on American pavement. Reiji puts his old name on. A school accepts a boy who should not have a transcript. Mio is already there, ordinary in the way Phantom almost never allows: classroom talk, club-adjacent days, a crush that does not know it is standing next to a sniper team.

The Japan chapter is not a slice-of-life reset. Claudia’s earlier Godoh project is the fuse. Inferno wanted the Godoh group folded into its network. Reiji coming home as a student puts him in the same city as that negotiation’s leftover guns. Scythe follows because unfinished products offend him. Cal follows because a duel was promised. Mio’s classroom is the intersection, not a holiday. The Steam screenshot on this page — Mio in the remake’s anime wardrobe — is the face the school sees. The church and the parking lot are what the night sees.

If you want the mechanical gate, Chapter 3 itself expects a specific American history: Ein’s Chapter 1 path, Cal’s Chapter 2 flags, identity checks, hiding after the loft bomb. Fail that history and you get Chapter 2 title cards instead of a school gate. The walkthrough is the lockpick. Mio’s article assumes you already opened Japan.

School, confession, and the name Reiji

Mio meets Reiji, not Zwei. That distinction is the entire romance. She does not fall for a Phantom. She falls for the boy in the next row who seems tired, kind, and slightly impossible to read. Accepting her confession is the flag that says you will treat that classroom as real. Seeking solitude to think after Elen explains Mio’s background is the flag that says you will not. Stay in the church or look for Mio if you want her ending; wander off to brood and the script keeps you on assassin business.

Koshimizu Ami’s performance is why the route works in the remake. Older PC releases used Asami Junko. The television series, the 360 game, and Steam all keep Koshimizu, which means Mio sounds like someone who could exist in a normal show until the rifles arrive. There is no English voice track to swap in. If you need a softer entry than Cal’s shopping gauntlet or Claudia’s hangar, this is the chapter that still lets you sit at a desk for a few scenes.

Reiji’s cruelty, when it comes, is protective. He will use her as a hostage to walk out of a church. He will promise to return and then visit her grandfather instead. He will spend a night and leave in the morning because their worlds do not share a sidewalk. Mio’s optimism in the last sakura shot is not ignorance. It is a decision to look forward after Shiga dies getting her off campus. The route respects her more than a pure rescue fantasy would.

The Godoh secret

Mio does not know, at first, that her family is yakuza. The Godoh group is the Japanese organization Claudia wanted in Inferno’s umbrella during Chapter 2. Daisuke Godoh and the family head are the men who think a kidnapping story can still cover a massacre at a church. Shiga, voiced in the remake by Hoshi Soichiro, is the loyal gun who will empty a clip at assassins and still try to drive Mio away from a sabotaged car.

Elen is the one who can explain Mio’s background to Reiji. That conversation is the moral trap. If Reiji treats the information as a reason to disappear, Mio stays a civilian who had a weird semester. If he treats it as a reason to stay, he is choosing to stand between the Godoh and Inferno for one girl’s sake. Cherry Blossom Avenue takes the second reading all the way to a threat: Reiji tells the Godoh head to leave the life, is refused, and calmly describes what he will do to everyone in the group. Elen asks whether one classmate is worth that war. He says he will remain a little longer.

This is why Mio belongs in a Phantom wiki instead of a generic school-route appendix. She is not Inferno, but the Godoh secret makes her a strategic object. Protecting her means picking a fight with both the numbered sisters and a yakuza bench. The endings guide will tell you which church shots fire. Cherry Blossom Avenue

Mio’s only ending is Cherry Blossom Avenue. After Elen explains the family, do not seek solitude. When you return to the classroom, accept the confession. The church still happens. Elen and Cal duel with the pocket watch on the altar. Reiji arrives too late to make them friends. Godoh men storm the building. Cal cuts her way out. Elen leaves because Reiji asks. Mio runs in when he is empty and offers herself as the hostage that lets him walk. They talk at school while Scythe’s Zahlen Schwestern and Shiga’s remaining men kill each other in the lot.

Shiga dies after clearing a bomb from a car. Cal, watching from a distance, decides Mio does not need her help this time; Elen then puts a gun on Cal as the larger threat. Reiji, disarmed in front of Scythe, is spared because Cal shoots the scientist for calling Drei a failed experiment, then promises to kill Reiji and Ein later — a stay of execution she credits to Mio. Reiji still visits Mio, still leaves, still threatens the Godoh head. The last image is sakura around a girl who chooses tomorrow.

It is the only close where Ein and Cal both survive the night without becoming Reiji’s lovers. Ein remains a platonic ally. Cal remains a future problem. Mio remains a civilian, which in this series is the rarest status. Steam includes an achievement named Mio among the 34. The 360 list used 美緒 and a 50-point title card for 桜舞い散る道を. Do not invent a hidden extra CG requirement here; if the overlay names Mio or the avenue, you are on the documented path.

How she collides with Ein and Cal

Mio’s route is the third-option chapter, not a first-week date. You cannot romance her instead of meeting Ein. You reach her because Ein and Cal already happened. That is why her ending can keep both assassins alive: the story has already spent their American chapters and is now spending Reiji’s leftover humanity on a classmate. If you came here hoping to skip Dusty Desert Trails or Road of the Cerulean Sky, understand the cost. You still play those women’s wars. You just refuse to finish their confessions so a schoolyard can exist.
