Phantom PHANTOM OF INFERNO NITRO ARCHIVE Lizzie Garland

Lizzie Garland is the person Phantom PHANTOM OF INFERNO NITRO ARCHIVE puts next to Claudia McCunnen when an executive still needs someone who will fire. She is Claudia’s childhood friend, bodyguard, and the closest thing the Inferno floor has to a brake. She commands shock troops on shipments and raids. She is an excellent markswoman who still sits below the Phantom title, and she has no interest in climbing that title. On Steam she uses the 2009 television design — tall, dark-skinned, short black hair, silver cross, leather — and Watanabe Akeno’s voice, the same pairing as the anime. Japanese audio only.

You do not get a Lizzie route with a confession and a title card named after her. You get a working partner who appears whenever Claudia’s plan needs a gun, and a late choice that asks whether Zwei still believes Claudia’s people are his people. Steam lists an achievement named Lizzie among the 34. As with the other character-named trophies, this wiki does not invent a hidden extra scene for it. Spend time in Claudia’s chapters and the overlay will tell you when the script has formally introduced her.

Gunman, not Phantom

Lizzie does not hold the Phantom title. Ein does, at the start, because Scythe Master already finished subject one. Lizzie’s job is the opposite of a manufactured ghost: she is visible, loud enough to argue, and loyal to a specific woman rather than to a German numeral. Inferno uses her to run doors, cars, and the ugly work that does not need a sniper hide. She is initially slow to trust a wiped teenager. Zwei’s passport photo looks, to her, like it could not kill a bug. The remake lets that line sit long enough to become a joke she will eat later.

Watanabe Akeno is the remake and television Lizzie. The 2000 PC original and the 2004 OVA used Orikasa Ai, a harder, more androgynous flavor that matches the older sprites. Funimation’s TV English track used Shay Moore; that recording is not in the Steam client. If you only know the original eroge’s Lizzie, expect the Steam face to be the television redesign. The attitude — rough, affectionate, uninterested in the boardroom — survived the redesign.

Claudia is the plan. Lizzie is the insurance. She will drive the Ferrari’s support, cover a loft, and still tell Claudia when a scheme is about to get Zwei killed. That two-hander is why Claudia’s page exists and why this page exists next to it. Read them as a pair. The Characters Hub used to treat Lizzie as a supporting blurb. She still is, in the sense that you cannot romance her. She is not optional flavor on Claudia’s Chapter 2 close.

Chapter 1 and Chapter 2

In Chapter 1 Lizzie is the adult who can arrive at the compound in time to keep Scythe from finishing Zwei. If you are on Ein’s fork she is still in the building. If you are on Claudia’s fork she is the reason Zwei walks out. The walkthrough marks the compound. This page marks the motive: Lizzie is not saving a Phantom. She is saving the boy her friend decided to keep.

Chapter 2, a year later, is where the game asks you to treat her as a person instead of a sprite. On Claudia’s path she can draw on Zwei. Whether you shoot is not a reflex test. Spare her and one set of title cards opens. Fire and you have already started becoming the man From Atop the Hill needs. In at least one Claudia future she walks away from Inferno and opens a bar in the country, disgusted with what the boy she saved turned into. Remember that bar. It is the closest thing the remake gives her to an ending of her own.

The television series assigns her as Zwei’s field partner after he takes the Phantom title, then as Drei’s partner after he runs. The visual novel still lets you miss the flags that make that sequence true. If Cal never becomes Drei in your file, Lizzie’s later scenes change. If you never completed Claudia, you may only meet Lizzie as a door gun. That is why this page sits under characters rather than under a fake Lizzie route. The routes ranking will not tell you to chase her. It will tell you that Claudia’s path is a two-hander.

Spoilers: Japan, Cal, and who lives

When Cal kidnaps Mio in Japan, Lizzie can be the person who tries to stop her. The pocket-watch game, the inability to pull the trigger on someone she actually knows, and the shot that follows are the television series’ most quoted Lizzie beat. The 2012 remake / 2013 reverse-port / 2026 Steam line does not treat that shot as the last word in every file. In at least one Ein-leaning investigation, Lizzie survives, kills McGuire, and cuts Inferno’s ability to send more men after Elen and Reiji. That is a remake-era beat, not a 2000 original promise. Do not assume every ending keeps it. Do not assume the anime’s death is the only Steam outcome.

Lizzie after Claudia’s death has no professional reason to stay. The script uses that vacuum. She is the most ordinary human in a story about manufactured ghosts, which is why her last draw hurts: she still has a line she will not cross, and Cal does not. If you want Cal’s side of that collision, read Cal Devens. If you want the executive who put Lizzie in the room, stay on Claudia. If you want the scientist who made the collision inevitable, read Scythe Master.

Steam, voice, and how to use this page

Steam’s 34-achievement list includes a named entry for Lizzie. Named trophies also exist for Claudia, Phantom, and Reiji, all of which can fire during the same chapters without proving you spared her at the hangar. Use the endings guide when you want title cards. Use the walkthrough when the compound or the later draw is about to appear. Use this page when a review mentions “the bodyguard” and you need a name.
