Phantom PHANTOM OF INFERNO NITRO ARCHIVE Guides Hub
Install, read, branch, and finish the Steam remake without wasting loops.
Phantom PHANTOM OF INFERNO NITRO ARCHIVE is a single-player cinematic adventure, not a live-service shooter and not a dating sim with a visible affection meter. This hub is the map for every Steam-side how-to on the wiki: what the NITRO ARCHIVE label actually contains, how an ADV is read, how the three chapters pass flags forward, and how to collect more than ten endings without replaying every line from a tourist’s first night in America.
The worldwide Steam date is 3 September 2026. Japanese announcements used 4 September 2026. The game is released. List price is ¥3,500 / $29.99, and Steam ran a launch introductory discount. Developer credit is NITRO PLUS / NITRO ORIGIN; the publisher is NITRO PLUS. Scenario is Urobuchi Gen’s debut, with Yasukawa Shogo and Morimiya Takashi. Voices are Japanese only. Text can be Japanese, English, or Simplified Chinese.
Start here
If the installer is still running, open Getting Started first. That page covers checkout on Steam, Windows 11 launch, language setup, the 15+ content warning, and the first-hour flow from Reiji Azuma’s trip to Zwei’s training under Ein. It also explains how this build differs from the 2000 original and from the 2009 television series.
If you arrived from the 2009 television series, open Anime vs Game before you assume Steam is a 26-episode recap. The remake wears the Bee Train face and still branches like a visual novel.
If you already started a New Game and the click-to-advance loop feels unfamiliar, switch to How to Play. Phantom stores hidden flags. A night you barely noticed can lock or open a later chapter. You save before choices, not after the credits. There is no recollection (scene replay) mode; CG mode and sound mode exist once you unlock them.
Keyboard and mouse bindings live on the controls guide. Confirm the live list in Config and on NITRO PLUS’s official online manual. Typical ADV habits still apply: left click or Enter advances text, right click or Esc opens the menu, Ctrl skips, and the mouse wheel opens the backlog. Fullscreen, window size, text speed, auto-read, and volume all sit in Config.
Three chapters, then endings
Inferno is the crime syndicate. Phantom is the top-assassin title. The protagonist Zwei is Reiji Azuma, trained by Ein. The Steam story is split into three chapters and more than ten endings. You do not need a spoiler map for the opening kidnap and the first training block. You do need save discipline: keep a slot before every choice, keep a clean copy of each chapter password, and never overwrite the only Chapter 1 file you have when you want to test Ein against Claudia.
When you are ready to branch on purpose, use the walkthrough for choice order and the endings guide for which flags produce character endings and the shorter deaths. Rank which routes to chase first on the routes ranking. Character bios, voice credits, and spoiler-light roles sit under characters. Steam tracks 34 achievements; the achievements tracker lists them without dumping every CG in the first paragraph.
PC setup, extras, and launch notes
NITRO ARCHIVE matches the 2013 Windows port of the 2012 Xbox 360 remake: anime character designs, the 2009 TV voice cast, and extra anime-origin scenes. It is not the 18+ 2000 PC original. Minimum specs are Windows 11, DirectX 11, 8 GB RAM, and 4 GB of storage; 16 GB RAM is recommended. Full numbers, including the 1920×1080 TrueColor note, live on system requirements.
There are no promo codes. Launch-week store text, the introductory discount window, and patch remarks belong on the launch update page. Official storefront, support, and social URLs are collected on official links. For a spoiler-light encyclopedia of Inferno, the Phantom title, the roster, and the 2000–2026 version history, start at the Phantom Wiki.
How to use this hub
Read Chapter 1 once without a chart if you want the first shock. Keep a second save before the Ein/Claudia fork. Use chapter passwords instead of replaying every line when you loop. Come back here when you forget which page holds skip rules versus ending flags. The six guides under this hub are meant to be used together, not as six copies of the same essay. Anime vs Game is the adaptation map; the other five are install, reading rules, keys, flags, and title cards.
